26 Week Appointment

Another positive doctor appointment happened this morning. They measured Jennifer’s belly and we heard a healthy heartbeat (~140).

We picked up a bottle of glucose for a test at 28 weeks. I say ‘we’ because Jennifer only has to drink half of it.
 The real news is the weather. They are calling it the “Holiday Blizzard of 2006.” (see the picture above; from our downtown Littleton Post Office)
At least 12 inches of snow in 12 hours with winds in excess of 35mph. This typically results in true ‘blizzard’ conditions. I plan to get a picture of the drift in front of our door in the morning.

Our goal is to leave Friday morning for Michigan. We are driving and looking forward to sunshine back in Colorado by then.
